When you unblock someone on WhatsApp they are not directly notified that you have unblocked them. WhatsApp doesn't send any specific alert or notification to the unblocked person.
However, there are ways the unblocked person might realize they have been unblocked:
Seeing your profile information: If they check your profile and can suddenly see your profile picture, "last seen" status, or "about" information, this is a strong indication they were previously blocked.
Being able to send you messages: If their messages were previously only showing a single checkmark (sent from their device), and now they see two checkmarks (delivered to your device) or blue checkmarks (read by you), this indicates they can now message you successfully.
Adding you to a group: If someone tries to add you to a group and it is successful, that person might figure out they are unblocked. Blocked users cannot be added to groups.
So, while there's no explicit notification, the unblocked person may be able to deduce that they are no longer blocked through these observations.
